Proverbs 3:5-6
5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Many times we cant see the road ahead, and it’s our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ we must trust and live a life for him.

Have a great week ahead and God Be With You!

The Lord made a beautiful sunset this evening over the burn unit.
We are all blessed to have the opportunity to know Jesus, and in moments like these it’s near impossible to not believe.

Stay Safe and God Bless.

CCFFM Helping out Quail Forever-Texas with a prescribe burn Tuesday. This unit will recover with some very healthy grazing grasses come this spring/summer.
Followed by a good reset to give nutrients and sunlight to the ground for the native grasses to bounce back in the cool season.
Cattle along with wildlife ranging from upland birds, deer and more will benefit from the fresh regrowth of grasses.

Now is a good time to start prepping fire breaks for your early spring prescribed burns!

Not All Firebreaks are the Same

GOOD FIREBREAKS
Bare Ground: Dozed, bladed or disked
Exiting Road: County, ranch, lease roads
Mowed Line: Mowed months beofre & wet-lined at burn
Crop Field: Green or cultivated
Waterbody: Creek, stream, river, lake

BAD FIREBREAKS
Narrow Mowed Line: Fire can creep, flames may reach across
Mowed Just Before Burn OR Tall Stubble Height: Piled thatch & standing vegetation

BETTER FIREBREAKS = SAFER BURNS
Prepare in Advance: months to weeks before ideal burn day
Wider is Better: 10 ft minimum, allow room for vehicles passing
