This job comprises of tearing off the old wood shake, removing wet and rotten poly iso foam insulation above the roof deck (this is a hot roof), and then adding an additional layer of 2” polyiso insulation and new plywood. We installed 100% high temp ice and water for the peak of underlayment protection, and are finishing with the premier roofing product in our trade, Brava Shake Tiles!
I have been roofing for 26 years now and without a doubt this job has challenged everything I’ve learned and required it all come together in one big problem solving puzzle. We are on the home stretch!
