We took to the streets during an awful blizzard to do an "open-up" at a townhome association so that, if for some reason we can't explain, someone wanted to leave to drive around town they could!

In today's video we head to my storage unit to install and test out a UHMW polyethylene cutting edge for the first time ever! We cut it to length, drill the bolt holes, and tightened it down with Grade 8 bolts.

Come along for the journey as we try this for the first time with no prior experience :/

Some advantages to UHMW include:
1. more forgiveness over bumps/cracks
2. less friction against ground for easier pushing
3. less abrasive on concrete/paver driveways and walkways

Some disadvantages to UHMW include:
1. more thickness required for same longevity as steel
2. can bend or warp easier
3. always have to make it yourself (no dealer uses it factory installed)
