πΏπ Meet the Hermit Flower Beetle! ππΏ
This shiny, dark beetle may look intimidating, but it's completely harmless β and actually helpful! The Hermit Flower Beetle (Osmoderma eremicola) lives in old tree hollows and helps break down rotting wood, playing a key role in forest health. You might spot one in the summer, especially near lights at night. If you do, give it a nod β itβs natureβs quiet recycler at work! ππ³
