We are incredibly proud to partner with CASA of Mesa County. Recently, Merritt and Associates supported their Sugar and Sweetheart event, an initiative dedicated to advocating for children in our community during some of their most difficult moments.

Community support is vital because it ensures that no child has to navigate the child welfare system alone. Children often come to the CASA program during the most traumatic times of their lives. By supporting these programs, we help provide a CASA volunteer who acts as a constant, positive presence and a dedicated voice in court for those who need it most.

Getting involved with CASA of Mesa County is a powerful way to make a difference for children who have been abused or neglected and may otherwise get lost in the child welfare system. You can support their mission by becoming a CASA volunteer, where you’ll be a constant positive presence for a child, talk to their teachers and doctors, and share what you learn with a judge in court. If you'd like to help change the future for local kids, you can visit their office at 2139 North 12th Street, Suite 5, in Grand Junction.
