Today, we spent some time at the Colorado Mesa University Maverick Job Fair connecting with students and sharing opportunities in our industry.

We were part of the 125th Sand & Sage Round-Up Parade last month in Lamar! Thanks to Sonia Camacho, Jakzon Cambell and Dustin Campbell for representing United East. It was a great way to celebrate a longtime community tradition.

Starting a new role in our business is more than learning the job itself. Understanding the overall operation is crucial to building a strong foundation for working safely.

On August 14, we had our New Miner Training to review site operations and processes at United East. The training helps new employees become familiar with the facility, recognize key safety expectations and gain a better understanding of how the operation works.

We're excited to have new team members on board and look forward to building our safety culture together.

Our RMC team recently provided and poured the mix for the new roundabout at the US 6 and Elberta Ave intersection in Palisade. This transformation is part of a CDOT project that will improve traffic flow and reduce intersection wait times by minimizing stops.

The Highway of Legends has always had incredible views as a National Scenic Byway. Soon, a newly improved and widened roadway in Weston, CO will elevate the trip even more.

Our team has been busy with the reclamation and reconstruction of a section of Highway 12. Paving on the widened eastbound half is currently wrapping up, with remaining milling and paving to follow on the opposite side.

This paving crew has a few legends of their own working on this project. Bringing together a wide range of experience, from three months to 30 years, their teamwork and dedication has delivered quality results. There's no better time to take the scenic route once this project is complete!

We have a new piece of equipment ready to dig in at United East. 🎉 Our new CAT 352 Excavator has arrived and we are excited to put it to work!!

We had a great day of learning and leadership out in Pueblo. Our United East frontline supervisors came together for training to strengthen leadership skills that help keep our teams safe and supported on a daily basis. Strong teams start with strong leaders, and we're grateful to work with some of the best in the business.
