One of the hard parts of owning this many reptiles is the health and wellness of each individual animal and knowing when a more qualified person (aka a veterinarian) needs to step in.

In a freak accident one of my geckos got her foot stuck in a frayed string from a fake plant, cutting off the circulation. I quickly reacted once I noticed it last night to get the string off. This morning it was swollen and shiny looking so I made the call to get her seen by a local exotic vet. She has been prescribed some pain meds and a topical antibiotic to help healing, she may or may not lose the two darker toes, but I am optimistic her foot will heal.

When you have a "collection" of reptiles it is so important to remember they are not just objects, they are living animals that you take full responsibility for and should always have a plan for emergencies, or even minor injuries when necessary. I think this gets looked over often in the reptile keeping hobby honestly, a sad reality. 🥺

Fish-scale geckos are pretty cool until they shed their scales they havent even fully grown back yet because you dared to try to take out their dirty paper towels.

These are the scales of M2. M2 is my arch nemesis. 😂

What a great weekend of spending time outside in this amazing weather and sharing my art with locals. 🫶 ☀️

My next show isnt until June 20th at BizBaz and then Summer Solstice at the Downtown Market the very next day! If there is enough interest I could do an etsy drop between now and then! Just post a color you'd hope to see in the comments and I can maybe make it happen. ;)

I also finished a sticker design this weekend and started a sketch for my next one. Whatya guys think? (new *finished* sticker will be revealed once I print them 🤩)

TOMORROW!

Find me during the in Yard SEVEN with some awesome artists and creators! I personally live in the creston neighborhood and its honestly a really inviting space, with local shops on plainfield, many free little libraries, community gardens, soooo pet friendly, and just a wonderful place.

Come out and support lots of great people and enjoy the weather! 🥰 Should be 70s out tomorrow which is literally perfect. 🌞

Ive never been all that into dark based geckos, but this pretty tricolor girl really blows me away. That crisp high coverage is really something special. 😌 Any name suggestions? 😊
