Today we celebrate ✨ We officially closed on our Parade of Homes project, and I couldn’t be more excited for the new owners as they begin their next chapter in this home.

This one is especially meaningful to me as it marks my first completed home in my new role as owner of Daeco Custom Homes. In many ways, it represents both a beginning and a full-circle moment—where I started, where I’ve grown, and where we’re headed next.

We poured so much intention, care, and craft into every detail, and I’m so grateful that, with the help of .realtor the perfect homeowners are now stepping into it.

And the timing couldn’t feel more aligned with Parade of Homes kicking off next week. A beautiful reminder that new chapters are always unfolding—and I couldn’t be more grateful for this one.

Our #1 tip for surviving a remodel?
Leave. Seriously. 😂

If you can stay somewhere else during demo and drywall, do it. The noise, the dust, the “wait, where is my kitchen?” panic, your future self will thank you.

A few more ways to stay sane in the middle of it all:

Create a little temporary living nook. Coffee maker in the laundry room, microwave in the basement, whatever works. You adapt, you survive, you thrive.

Pack up more than you think you need to. Dust has a way of finding everything.

Make your selections early. The smoother the decisions, the sooner you get your beautiful space back.

It’s not always pretty in the middle, but the transformation on the other side? So worth it.
