Crews are making their way through subdivisions today. Cul-de-sac contractors will follow tomorrow and continue completing cul-de-sacs over the weekend, as conditions allow. Residents are encouraged to be good neighbors and take proactive steps to assist during storm cleanup by parking off the street and using driveways whenever possible.
Vehicles parked in the street limit crews’ ability to fully clear snow, can block access to storm drains, and may leave behind large snow piles that create safety concerns. Crews and contractors will not make return trips to address snow berms caused by vehicles parked in the roadway.
In addition, drivers should remain alert for changing conditions. If you see a shiny ribbon in the wheel tracks on what appears to be bare pavement, it is likely a thin layer of ice. Use caution and adjust driving accordingly.
