We are honored to share that our founder, John Whitten, has been recognized by the Grand Rapids Business Journal as one of the "Notable Leaders in Architecture, Engineering & Construction for 2026."

While individual recognition is appreciated, architecture is never a solo endeavor. This honor reflects the trust our clients place in us, the collaboration of our consultants and construction partners, and the dedication of the incredible team at Spark 43 Architects.

Mark your calendars for September 26th!

The new Kentwood Community Center has an official opening date: September 26. The 67,000-square-foot facility will offer classrooms, a walking track, basketball courts, a fitness area, and more.

Exciting day as track and walls are starting to go up at Forge85 out in Muskegon! How about that roof and those window openings? This office space is going to be filled with intentionally curated natural light and elegant materials for our tenant.
