Roosevelt Park Curb Appeal Contest The Roosevelt Park Neighborhood's annual Curb Appeal home beautification contest is a fun way for neighbors to get involved in improving the community.

Participants receive a gift certificate and compete to show the most improvement on their home. The Roosevelt Park Curb Appeal Contest is a joint effort between Habitat for Humanity of Kent County and the Roosevelt Park Neighborhood Association to create a culture of home improvement among residents. Each year, neighborhood residents who participate in the contest receive a gift certificate to a h

ome improvement store. Contestants use the certificate to purchase material for their home exterior beautification project. At the end of the contest prizes are awarded to homes that show the most improvement and the most creative project. Since starting in 2015, 230 households and 24 businesses have participated in the contest taking on projects ranging from complete home repaints to adding flowers to their landscaping.
