We're proud of every project we build, but some carry deeper responsibility.

The Jim Crow Museum at Ferris State University was created to preserve important stories, confront difficult history and provide future generations with a place to learn, reflect and grow. Contributing to a space that serves as both a museum and an educational resource is an honor our team will carry with us for years to come.

Thank you to Ferris State University and all the partners who helped make this impactful project a reality.

is about more than a single week. It's about creating opportunities, investing in people and building an industry where everyone can see a place for themselves.

At Rockford, we're proud to support the next generation of construction professionals through jobsite tours, career exploration opportunities, workforce partnerships and programs like Dimensions 2.0, which helps underrepresented contractors grow their businesses and build lasting industry connections.

This week and every week, we're committed to opening doors, strengthening our workforce and building a better future for all.

Next week, our Industrial team will be at The Battery Show to connect, listen and dig into the challenges of construction when downtime isn’t an option.

In battery and advanced manufacturing, every hour counts. Production lines can’t stop, and speed to market can’t slip. That’s why we plan and build around your operations, using MEP and VDC coordination to minimize disruption and keep critical processes running while your facility grows.

Stop by Booth 2643 at Huntington Place in Detroit, October 12–15, to meet Josh Rewa, Dan Kowalski and Chaoying Zhang and talk through MEP + VDC solutions, design-build delivery and facility optimization.

We’d love to hear what’s next for your facility. See you there!

Several members of our Rockford team attended Inforum’s 22nd Mobility Breakfast 2026. Over breakfast, they joined industry leaders and peers for a thought-provoking discussion on AI, inclusion and the ongoing pursuit of workplace equity.

We enjoyed learning from the panelists, connecting with fellow professionals and being part of an important discussion shaping more inclusive workplaces. It was an engaging and inspiring event, and we look forward to attending future Inforum events!

We're at the MSBO Facilities/Operations Conference & Exhibit Show at Crystal Mountain this week.

Creating environments where students, staff and communities can thrive takes strong partnerships and thoughtful planning. We're proud to support Michigan schools and look forward to connecting with attendees throughout the event to share ideas, insights and solutions.

This past weekend, we were honored to sponsor SHE RUNS Grand Rapids in support of our friends at Gazelle Sports.

She Runs GR celebrates the strength, determination and achievements of women at every stage of their running journey. From first-time 5K participants to seasoned half marathon runners, the event creates a welcoming space where every woman belongs at the starting line.

We're especially proud of our own Chaoying and Jennifer, who represented Rockford on race day. Congratulations to all who participated and helped make this inspiring event a success!

Rockford joined Ferris State University, project partners and the community to celebrate the opening of the new Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia today.

Created to support education, reflection and meaningful dialogue, the expanded museum provides a powerful space to engage with history and better understand its lasting impact on society. These are the kinds of projects that extend far beyond the built environment, creating opportunities for learning, fostering important conversations and strengthening communities through a deeper understanding of our country’s history.

Congratulations to everyone involved in reaching this significant milestone.
