We had an exciting honey bee rescue operation last week. The pignut hickory was falling apart and the most recent limb to shear off revealed a nest of bees. We tied off the top and redirected the log to another tree. This is set up as a standing log hive now! Reach out if you have any bees in trees that are slated for removal.
