The Pine View build is a masterclass in contrast done right: a moody exterior giving way to an airy, light-filled interior. Dark metal details balanced against warm wood accents. A neutral palette punctuated by that green kitchen island that became an immediate focal point.

This is one of our favorite parts of the process. After months of planning, designing, and decision-making, the home stops being a blueprint and starts being a place. Walls go up. Rooms take form. And for the first time, you can stand inside the space and feel the scale of what you've been building toward.

We've heard a lot of client wishes over the years, but this one really stood out: "I need space for my family, my best friend, my brother, and my flower business. All on one property."

This client had outgrown her previous Engelsma home and had a clear vision for what came next: a property where her life, her people, and her work could all exist together without compromise. The challenge was making it work while navigating strict development restrictions, township regulations prohibiting shared driveways, and demanding septic requirements for multiple structures on a single piece of land.

We found the right agricultural acreage, maneuvered every regulatory layer, and designed a master plan that delivered all of it: a primary residence, a home for her brother, a renovated structure for her best friend, and a purpose-built barn for her floral business.

The result? Four buildings. One cohesive compound. And a property that is as stunning as the home itself.
