Updating social media is not our strong suit so we decided a 2025 photo dump was more than necessary.

This job was a special one for us.
A home that’s been in the family for close to 100 years desperately needed a fresh start with the landscaping.
Low maintenance was the name of the game here so rock all around it was and a carefully picked plant list.
All shrubs are evergreens providing year round interest and maintenance only to keep them in bounds. We chose sedum for its sun loving and drought tolerance. They’re also so easy to grow and snap off once they’re done for the season (so easy fall cleanup!). We also added in cuttings of a few peonies that resided here previously for a little sentimental value.
Thanks to Shaner Avenue Nursery for providing great quality plants as always.
We can’t wait to watch this one grow in and mature over the next few years.

Check out this quick job we did for a new customer…
✅Removed excess fill from the back yard
✅Re-leveled areas, then followed up with grass seed
✅ Removed blocks from around pool and replaced with aluminum edging
✅Top dressed existing rocks around pool to fill in bare areas and freshen up the look

✅First landscape job of the season complete
🏡An elevated bed with a large stump was removed to bring the area back down to grade
🌳A new tree and a pole for a dog line was installed
🌱Topped it off with topsoil and seed to match existing lawn height
🌟A simple change made a huge difference in the look of this area.

🌱What’s on your to do list this spring? Here’s a few tips to keep your lawn/landscape on track… OR if you’re not a DIY’er shoot us a message and we can take care of these tasks for you!

🏡Common perennials such as day lilies and hostas should be cutback/pulled to prevent molding from excess moisture in the dead leaves (we usually like to do this in the fall)

🍁Leaves and debris can build up around shrubs and corners and can suffocate new growth in shrubs and perennials. Remove them to ensure airflow through your beds and to keep things neat when you apply fresh mulch.

☘️You may benefit from applying a pre-emergent herbicide if your lawn tends to get overrun with crabgrass. When applied at the proper time, pre-emergent gets to those annual weeds before they can germinate.

☀️Most importantly, get outside and enjoy the sunshine! (When Michigan decides to cooperate🙃)
