Jack Dykstra Excavating Dirt Movers since 1953 Over sixty years ago, thirteen year old Jack Dykstra worked on a family farm with his mom in West Michigan. Jack Sr.

Dairy farming in the early 1930's was hard work, and young Jack learned the value of long days and the rewards which hard work create early in his life. When he was old enough to make his own decisions about his future, Jack Sr. decided that he'd had enough of milking cows. With $4000.00 he invested in his first bulldozer and dump truck. On that piece of West Michigan farm land, Jack raised three

sons, and built Dykstra Excavating. Today, his three sons Paul, Jack II, and James, run the family business. led the business until the early 2000's, and is still president. The company he built reflects the lessons he learned on the family dairy farm. Dykstra Excavating relies on honesty, hard work, great reputation and relationships within the community. Today Dykstra employs 36 people, plus an array of experienced subcontractors. They hire reliable, well trained people to build and maintain their company. They have a fleet of over 50 pieces of grading and earthmoving equipment. Their crews can take a job from rough grading to finished and packed, ready for paving. They utilize computer, sonar, laser and GPS guided grading equipment to make sure that your project is completed right the first time.
