Concrete Subfloor Grinding ⬇️

Grinding the concrete subfloor is a critical step in preparing for a successful hardwood floor installation!

Before grinding begins, we thoroughly inspect the slab for cracks, spalling, curling, uneven areas, and other imperfections that could affect the finished floor 🧐

Once the surface has been properly prepared, we test the concrete for moisture to ensure it’s suitable for hardwood flooring. As a general rule, wood flooring should never be installed over a concrete slab that is less than 30 days old 🚫

With the slab properly prepared and moisture-tested, the subfloor is ready for hardwood installation 👍
