We've had a couple of days of storms with strong wind the last few days. How are your screens holding up? If they're blowing in the breeze they won't be much good for what comes next..

This has always been my biggest fear for our dogs over the years and I am glad to see this pup recovering.

Back when The Boss and I bought our first house in NW Palm Bay that backed up to wooded lots along Heild Road, I saw one coral snake, but that was it thankfully. At the house we built almost 21 years ago where we are currently at, I've seen a coral snake in the lot beside us, but that's been the only venomous snake that we've seen. Our old German Shorthair Pointer was a hunter of all things for sure and she would go right after the black racers and rat snakes that we would see every now and then (I had to rescue a few of them over the years and she didn't care that they were biting her). I figured that we'd have a pygmy rattlesnake or an eastern diamond back or a cottonmouth get into the yard one day and that would be that. Thankfully that never happened.

The Big Do**us was a hunter of all things except snakes. He actually had a deep bark that he would use and I always knew what he was barking at. Then I would see him barking at whatever snake had made it into the yard. Now we have Shelby the GSP and I am pretty sure she's not going to shy away from them.

The weather is warming and the rain is coming, with that comes mosquitoes. We've already been getting our first waves from the rains we have already received, and they're vicious this year!

Holes in your screens and missing screens won't do you much good as protection from the flying nuisances.

We think the "Frog Log" is an excellent idea.

You know what else we think is an excellent idea? Getting your screens replaced so that the animals don't end up in the water in the first place! It's part of the reason we do what we do! Environmental protection, creating a barrier helps keep animals and humans safe. ❤️

We gotta say, there is nothing more satisfying than a job well done. We got a call from our Firefighter friend, who had a huge raccoon problem. They were climbing his pool enclosure and tearing the screens. It's not an uncommon problem.

With the recent rains there has been a massive mosquito hatch after the drought conditions. We can fix your screen rooms up good as new to help solve that problem, too.

It is with extra SPECIAL thank you to the star of this little production, Roxanne!

She should be the star, her human mom was looking for a solution to the punishment Roxanne inflicted upon the screen room. She gave us a call and of course we have the solution! Pet Screen, produced by our favorite American company, Phifer Incorporated.

We made sure to have Roxanne immediately show us how tough the screen is, of course it doesn't disappoint. We also personally use Phifer's Pet Screen at home for an ornery fat cat and have used it for reptile builds. We can't say enough great stuff about Pet Screen and we're sure you would love it, too.

We've had lots of calls about animals damaging screens. It's been very cold and it's baby season for many creatures that we share the earth with. A lot of animals will try and make your home, their home. That can come with damage and that's where we can help.
