Here are your most common drive-in questions answered!
1. Sound is played over a outdoor sound system AND 97.3 FM
2. Located at the beautiful Pottsville Historical Museum 2400 Pleasant Valley Rd
3. Outside food is welcome we also are completing our new concession stand thanks to Rogue Credit Union! We also have food trucks from time to time
4. Prices are by the car load NOT per person
5. Parking and food opens one hour before the show so you have time to get the family situated
6. Movies are posted every week so keep an eye on our website www.gpdrivein.com for more shows
7. Parking is first come first serve and you may park forward or backwards

Ninety years ago this month, film star Shirley Temple made a stop in Grants Pass as she and her family traveled by car from Los Angeles to British Columbia. Here she is posing with Chief Big Horn of the Oregon Cavemen. In her autobiography, “Child Star,” Shirley Temple Black describes the August 1936 encounter: “Father had traded in his old LaSalle for a Cadillac, the first of six cars acquired during the next three years, and proposed an auto trip through coastal redwood forests to Vancouver Island, Canada.…Passing through Grants Pass, Oregon, we were startled to suddenly be surrounded by several dozen men dressed in pelts of deer and bear skin. Prehistoric figures, they leaped up and down around our auto brandishing gnarled wooded clubs, grimacing, and grunting. My parents quickly rolled up the windows and locked the doors. Nobody had forewarned us about the traditional local society of Oregon Cavemen, who only wished to present a scroll of welcome.”

We just changed the lives of our latest chain link customers. The family dog will be able to run. The littlest of the crew can be outside with his best adventure buddy. This summer will be a lot different.

We got back from visiting my very good friend in Tennessee and then to spend Spring break with our grandkids in Florida. When we got home the gate was installed. Been using it now for almost 2 weeks. The centerpiece will be vinyl wrapped by Logan Design so the hummingbird and flowers will stand out. I tried to pick the craftsmanship apart being the customer. I could not find anything worthy of mentioning.
