Because what corners are being cut to make up the difference?
โข Are the materials coming from a reputable supplier?
โข Are all materials from matching manufacturer lots?
โข Is the roofing crew performing a complete tear-off?
โข How is your property being protected during the installation?
โข Is the drip edge being replaced?
โข Are all vents being replaced?
โข Are they installing synthetic underlayment?
โข Did they inspect the decking after tear-off to ensure itโs structurally sound?
โข Is ice & water shield being installed in the valleys where needed?
โข Is an attic inspection being performed?
โข Do you have a workmanship warranty?
โข Will the company still be around five years from now to honor it?
โข How much experience does your sales rep & project manager have in the industry?
Call me OCD, but I ask these questions because details matter.

You can always find someone cheaper.
