Wanted to share some insight. While both of these roofs have had a good hail storm recently, the conditions of these roofs make it difficult to see those hail hits. This is what insurance adjusters usually claim as “negligence” to not pay for a replacement, even though it’s clearly needed.

When roofs go unattended for so long they become nearly impossible to repair because shingles just rip. The roofs lifespan is basically over due to its condition and now it’s all on the homeowner (and your wallet)

Best advice I can give is to get your roof checked yearly and/or after any decent storm. Worst case scenario is that you get told you’re good👍
