We recently completed a three-part job for our new customer Horsche in beautiful Serene Lake Village, Soda Springs, CA. The work included:
* Installing a portable backup generator with a manual interlock switch and an essential load panel
* Replacing an old, fire hazardous Zinsco subpanel (that was showing signs of burning) and
* Installing a 60A circuit for a Tesla charger
The Tri-Counties region has many homes that were build during the 1960s-'80s, like those in Serene Lake Village. These older homes are now being purchased and upgraded by younger families, often as their primary residency. 🏠
Many of these homes no longer pass electrical safety standards, as outdated Zinsco-Sylvania panels — prevalent during this time — are now hazardous due to the increase in modern day electrical usage. 🔌
