Yesterday we took a day to show some appreciation for our hardworking team. Matt led a broadcast burn demonstration, followed by a round of mini golf, all on the clock! 🤘

These guys pushed hard to put some big projects behind us this past season. Doing our best to show a little extra gratitude for their hard work day in and day out.

Honey wake up, new YFR team photo just dropped 💥

Feeling beyond grateful to have another amazing year in the books with the best crew around! 2025 was a big year for us- new faces on the team, new equipment, and tackling our biggest projects yet. This would not be possible without our hardworking team.

We are so fortunate to be caring for the trees and forests surrounding our home base in Grass Valley, CA. What a fantastic place to run a business like ours. Shout out to all of those who have supported us one way or another. ❤️🫶🌲

Every year we get the opportunity to set up for one day at the 🥦🍓🥕

It's something we look forward to all year. The vendors, farmers, and folks coming by to pick up local produce and wares remind us how beautiful this little town and community is ❤️🌲 Going to the market or investing in a CSA is a great way to make sure the most of your dollar reaches those working hard to bring you a bounty. As a business, sponsoring the market is a no brainer for us.

The leaf quiz was a hit! We had three folks correctly ID all of them, which was impressive considering we had a couple curveballs in there 🤓 Good on ya!

Got an old unsightly stump you'd love to see gone? We can help with that!

Here Lucas is expertly grinding away an oak stump left by the utility clearance crews. Well, maybe not expertly, this was actually the first stump he had ever ground. But he's basically an expert now 🤓

Our tracked stump grinder can fit through gates and maneuver up slopes to get to practically any stump!

Oak, Liquidambar, Pear and Ash trees are most prone to summer limb drop which often occurs on hot and windless summer days.

Had the pleasure of getting a couple vacant parcels in into compliance. Most of the other properties were almost completely denuded, whereas we left the parcels looking natural with clumps of native vegetation and saplings where they have good establishment areas. It is actually harder to take less, but leaves a much more natural looking property.
