The Mill Street Manor

The manor was built in the late 1800's and the old lady keeps us busy. We do 98% of the work oursel The Manor keeps us very busy.

From general upkeep to extensive remodel projects. You can bet there is something always happening here. We took the plunge and became Master Food Preservers this year and one of our goals is to show how you can go from Yard to Jar easily and create a food source you can be proud of. We teach canning, preserving, pickling, candy making and many other things you can do in your kitchen. We believe t

he kitchen is the heart of every home, come learn how you can get the most out of it :)

All of the food related information here is from approved, tested recipes. Food preservation done correctly is so important! In addition to growing and preserving food, we design and remodel yards into edible ones. Why water a lawn when you can have so much more. Unfortunately, due to some construction delays, we likely won't get halloween decorations up this year. We will still have the lights up for Halloween evening though so feel free to stop by for trick or treating. Be safe!

This weekend we are offering a free tomato plant with purchase of any of our other veggie plants. SAT and SUN 9-2pm.

Once again we have veggie seedlings for sale. Now that we finally have some warmer weather, these green babies are getting too big for the greenhouse. We still have all sorts of veggies, including a big variety of peppers. So please stop by and grab a few. We tend to sell out fairly fast so don't wait.

We are open Saturdays and Sundays, 9-2ish. $2 each or 6 for $10.

This weekend, we gave our little pond a face-lift and are very pleased with the results. Last year, someone stole our little solar pump, which killed off our fish and turned it into a unsightly bog. Happy to check that project off the list and move on to the next!
