Some homes come easy, this one made us earn it. After a week of hammering, we finally poured footers today. Our excavating crew deserves a break for this one (luckily for them, it’s supposed to rain the next two days 😆). Your brand new spec is being built on one of the last two lots in The Reserve at Hillendale Farms in Gray!

We haven’t even poured the slab yet and someone already tried to move in. The first residents have officially been relocated and now we’re back to getting this homesite ready for concrete! 🐦😂

Getting the yard ready for final grade called for some extra help from the princess in a tutu and✨sparkly✨boots and the big boss himself. Around here, building homes is a family affair and sometimes the smallest helpers make the biggest impact 🎀🐾

From the early planning stages to handing over the keys, he’s put in the work and it’s been awesome watching it all come together. Proud of the dedication, growth, and attention to detail he brought to this home.

☀️ Big Boss’ PSA for homeowners during this heat wave: your HVAC may run longer than normal — and that’s okay!

A few easy ways to help your system out:
• Change/clean air filters regularly
• Keep vents open and clear
• Don’t set the thermostat unrealistically low
• Turn on ceiling fans
• Spray off outdoor units to remove dirt & pollen
• Trim bushes/plants around the unit for airflow
• Close blinds during the hottest part of the day

Remember: In extreme heat, most systems can only cool about 15–20° lower than the outdoor temp. Your unit is working hard so don’t make yourself miserable by pushing it to its limits!
