Alan Sealy wears many hats in our company and has proven there isn’t an obstacle that is too big for us to handle!
Alan handles the everyday work, he is most often the face of our company, Ceo, the Boss Man, some times the hired hand, the appraiser, and many more.
For all of those “hats” he is doesn’t get enough recognition! GCS wouldn’t be what it is today without him and for that we are forever grateful!

Back from the holidays and the residential work hasn’t slowed down. But this time of year we have to shift our focus to forestry services. We provide a complete portfolio of timber stand improvement services. Read over some the ways we can improve your recreation or investment property.
Controlled burns; your property needs to be burned regularly. Large acreage or small homesteads, pines or hardwoods; you’re property needs burned. Fire cleans, it sanitizes, it nourishes, and it creates the space for early succession species which is good for your wildlife. Also, a clean understory will equal more money for your timber when you sell it.
Tree planting; pine reforestation, hardwoods and wildlife orchards are all under our umbrella of services. We hand and machine plant pine seedlings, Loblolly or Longleaf, genetically improved or standard.

Cooler temps and shorter days can put the freeze on your outdoor projects. But it doesn’t have to be that way. This season is full of activity. Sports, parties, weddings and Nature’s own beauty are all great reasons to be outdoors. And there’s still time to enjoy your space the way you envision it.

I bet you’ve got at least one tree with limbs that makes for a miserable mowing experience. So just have someone come hack off the bottom limbs right? Well there’s more to pruning trees/shrubs than aesthetics and accessibility. Obviously there are practical reasons to prune your landscape. But there’s also science behind it. Science? Well there’s a lot going on up in the canopy of your trees that you can’t see from down there. Issues like insects, intrusive wildlife, disease/decay/defects, damage from wind, and even natural growth could all lead to an early demise for your beloved Quercus or Cornus. Could the money spent on a tree health inspection save you from a costly removal next year? Absolutely.
