t a lot of my youth holding the flashlight for some fix or repair being told to move it to the right or left, asked to hand a wrench or hammer, lift this, pull that, get the level, or tighten this down. Over time that progressed into other, more complex tasks. Fast forward and I am in my own house and having to fix a light, switch an outlet, install a storm door, hang a ceiling fan, change a doorknob, or fix a leaky faucet. All time spent in "training" to make me the honey-do list killer that I am today. It also involved a lot of trips to the hardware store too, but that is another story. So here I am back in the neighborhood of my childhood and ready to tackle your honey-do list. Got a box of old pictures to hang? Need a faucet replaced? Is that crapper flapper just a little loose and well worn, needing replacing? Shouldn't those curtains bought last week, month, or year be put up? Shouldn't the 9 boxes of "assemble it yourself" furniture be assembled? Your pulse is increasing, sweat forms on your brow, you don't even know where your drill is right now, much less the battery! Calm down, like the handyman of the neighborhood from bygone days, men like my dad, I'm here to help. Just get that list together and call Pops, then get your beverage of choice, sit back, relax, and let Pops knock that honey-do list out for you. Just one thing, Pops doesn't do painting.
