To all the people we are doing work for. Please take a moment and google Lacquer Blushing. Its real problem for Brads furniture restoration. every year at some point of the summer we get a string of hot humid day. The trouble with this is that when you spray lacquer it dries fast and the moisture in the air gets trapped in the finish as it dries and so it looks cloudy. Being in a 10,000 sq ft facility brick with no air it is hard to avoid. We are blessed to have the biggest and the best facility in lake county, But there is nothing we can do about this problem. So If your pieces take a few weeks longer to get back , please be patient It will be worth the wait. (Upholstery and Repair work will be done quicker due to manpower being diverted to the things we can do) Thanks to our loyal customers. Brad and Todd , and Jose and all the support staff thank you!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted on here more. I'm not a big Facebook fan. I've seen it in the last few years dividing our country. But since everyone seems to have so much interest in what I am doing I felt it only fair to use this site more to promote my business. If you are in the Chicagoland area or as far away as St.John in the Virgin Island, That's how far I've gone to make peoples furniture look perfect. We build custom furniture. We refinish family heirlooms. I'm not ashamed to admit we have the best upholstery shop in Northern Illinois.

don't paint it try one of our colored lacquers!!! We can make it in any Benjamin Moore color. Better than paint for your table or chairs. Wont wear off like paint, easy to clean.

Here at Brads furniture we have marine vinyl in thousands of colors. How does Your boat look this year??? Mine needs the bow seats recovered. Lucky for me we have just the blue I need so I wont have to do all the seats for them to match, just the ones that need it.

weekends at Brads furniture, its spring regardless of the weather this week the heat is coming. Dont forget we sandblast and repaint outdoor furniture in any automotive color available including the cubs or sox or bears colors.
