I’ve been busy with inspections and it’s been a few weeks since I’ve been to our Russell HQ. This winter Travis and Holly undertook the huge project of expanding our offices to serve our team and communities better. From warehouse to workspace, the transformation is amazing! 🤩 It was so fun to see everything completed today!

Don’t I need an estimate?! No, you don’t. Before our lives were so computerized, insurance companies used to ask homeowners to get 3 estimates for repairs, typically going with the middle priced option. Today, technology has streamlined the estimate and insurance process, consolidating information into a nationwide database program. Now, the adjuster comes out to write a scope of work, and the contractor matches that price. There are a few exceptions, of course. Sometimes an item is forgotten, more damage is discovered, or a homeowner chooses to upgrade a product. A good, knowledgeable contractor uses documentation and the same program the insurance company uses to request additional funds to restore a property to its pre-storm condition. Technology has helped keep prices fair for the homeowner, insurance company, and contractors. My focus is the scope of work, to make sure your property is properly restored. Roofing’ ain’t easy! It’s been a whirlwind of weeks with storms and life happenings, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t recognize the amazing people I have the honor to work with every day. These guys consistently show up for me, we show up for each other, cheer each other on, celebrate successes, offer support when doubts creep in and are just genuinely amazing people! I’m constantly inspired by their passion, dedication, and commitment to our customers, but also to our team. To have people you can learn, grow, laugh, cry, agree, disagree, joke, and show up for you and with you is one of life’s greatest gifts. I just wanted to say thanks, to our team. Rush Center, Kansas We are here for you! I was able to talk with several awesome folks today, and the damage was widespread. New roofs held up, but siding, windows and gutters, along with older roofs didn’t fair so well. I’ll be back in town tomorrow doing more free inspections and answering questions! Here’s a good reminder given our active weather system these past few days. Know your deductible, and have a qualified professional assess your home. If you have a $5000 deductible, and $3000 of damage- don’t put in a claim. It will be a non-pay claim and you could be penalized for it.
