Are your trees trying to tell you something?

Yellowing leaves, thinning canopy, early leaf drop, dead branches, mushrooms near the base, cracking bark, or general decline can all be signs that something deeper is going on.

At myLawn! Turf & Tree, we offer professional tree health diagnostics to help identify what may be causing stress, decline, or health concerns in your trees.

Our goal is not to guess and throw treatments at a problem. Our goal is to investigate, understand the root cause, and give you realistic recommendations that help protect the long term health and value of your trees.

Tree diagnostic assessments begin at $55 for a basic visual tree health assessment.

More advanced diagnostics, soil testing, root zone investigation, detailed documentation, written reports, and travel outside our regular service area may include additional fees.

Every tree and property is different, so we will review what you are seeing first and recommend the most appropriate next step before any additional work is performed.

Trees are living organisms, and many problems begin below the surface before they become obvious above ground. The sooner we can identify the issue, the better chance we have of helping your trees recover or helping you make a wise decision before the problem gets worse.

Abby has been with us since the end of last year, and over the past four weeks, she has stepped up in a tremendous way in our office.

She has been handling scheduling, answering calls, fielding questions, and helping care for the needs of both our clients and our team. In many ways, she has been carrying double duty, and she has done it with a willing heart, a steady attitude, and a genuine desire to serve others well.

Yesterday, a very kind and thoughtful client came into the office to recognize Abby’s efforts. She brought her a thank you card and a gift card as a way to express her gratitude for the help Abby had given.

It is people like this who warm the hearts of others and remind us how important it is to pause, look around, and reflect on the people and blessings we are grateful for in life. A simple act of kindness can go much further than we realize.

So, to Mollie McReynolds, thank you. Thank you for taking the time to show appreciation, and thank you for showing Abby the kind side of the world that she so deeply deserves to see.

And to Abby, thank you for the way you continue to show up for our clients, our team, and this company. You are appreciated more than you know!

Today we want to give a huge shoutout to Trey Popp as he celebrates 5 years with myLawn! Turf & Tree.

That means today is not just another day around here. It is Trey’s 5 year myLawniversary.

And if you know Trey, you know this is worth celebrating.

Around here, Trey has earned the nickname Mr. 5 Star because of the way his clients talk about him. He has a gift for doing the work the right way, treating people the right way, and leaving behind the kind of experience that makes people want to take the time to say something good.

In the month of May, Trey was also named our Workhorse of the Month. He worked more hours than anyone, received more 5 star reviews than anyone, and made a huge impact across our team and our clients.

But what we appreciate most about Trey is not just what he does. It is who he is.

Over the last several weeks, as our office has walked through a tragedy no team ever wants to face, Trey was steady. He checked on people. He helped carry weight. He made sure others were okay. In moments like that, you find out what kind of people you really have around you, and Trey showed once again that he is the kind of person you want in your corner.

Trey, thank you for 5 years of hard work, loyalty, care, and leadership. Thank you for loving our clients well. Thank you for representing myLawn! Turf & Tree with excellence. Thank you for being someone our team can count on.

We are grateful for you, proud of you, and we are undoubtedly better because you are here.

Sod will be available by preorder first, so prepayment will ensure you get the sod you order. Any extra sod available after preorders are filled will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

“Thank you for calling myLawn! Turf & Tree, this is Toby. How can I assist you?”

For the last couple of years, those words were often the first voice many of our clients heard when they reached out to our office. Toby had a gift for making people feel welcomed, heard, and cared for. He served our clients well, not because it was simply part of his job, but because caring for people was truly part of who he was.

But Toby was so much more than the voice on the other end of the phone.

He was a father, a brother, a friend, and someone deeply loved by his family and those closest to him. He was loved deeply by those who knew him, and even a short conversation with him was often enough to understand why.

We wanted to take a moment to pause and express our deep gratitude for the outpouring of love, kindness, and support we have received from our family, our friends, the community, and our clients following the recent passing of Toby Elliott.

Toby was not only our brother, but also a cherished team member and friend. Several of our family members had the privilege of working alongside him here, and this past week and a half has been incredibly difficult. Even so, the care, prayers, messages, and love we have received have helped lighten a burden that has felt almost impossible to carry.

Please continue to keep his children, his family, his loved ones, and his friends in your thoughts and prayers as we all learn how to navigate this world without him.

We would also like to acknowledge the effort, understanding, and compassion each of our team members has poured into their work during this difficult time. Even while grieving themselves, they have continued to support one another, support our family, and do an outstanding job caring for the needs of our clients. We are truly blessed to have the team we have.

We also ask that you extend as much grace as possible to our office and our team in the days ahead. Toby’s absence is deeply felt, and we are still learning how to absorb the incredible impact of losing him.

Little barley is thriving to say the least! If you have this problematic w**d in your lawn, this video may help you understand it, as well as how you can prevent it and control it in the future!

As always, there is no better w**d control than a thick, healthy, dense turf. This couldn’t be more true with little barley. If you have an infestation of this, it is a great indication that you may need to re-seed some areas and improve overall turf health!
