As many of our customers may begin noticing over the coming weeks, Lush Landscapes WNY is currently in the process of transitioning into a brand new operating and billing system in an effort to continue improving the overall customer experience and day to day efficiency of our company.
After spending a long time searching for a platform that could truly handle the demands of a lawn and landscape business, we recently made the switch to Shortcut and it has already completely transformed the way we operate behind the scenes. From scheduling and routing to invoicing, payments, customer communication, estimates, reminders, and account management, the system has allowed us to streamline nearly every aspect of our business operations.
As part of this transition, customers may notice some changes along the way including updated invoices, new payment portals, different email formats, automated reminders, scheduling notifications, and other operational improvements as we continue migrating everything into the new system. During this adjustment period, there may occasionally be small inconsistencies while older services and newer services temporarily process through separate systems as we complete the changeover.
One of the biggest improvements this brings for our customers is a much smoother and more professional billing and communication experience. Payments can now be processed more conveniently online, invoices are easier to track, estimates are cleaner and more detailed, and customer information is centralized in one organized platform. It also allows us to manage scheduling and route changes much more efficiently during the busy season, especially when weather impacts operations.
This transition is ultimately about continuing to improve the level of service, communication, organization, and professionalism we provide to our customers every day. We appreciate everyone’s patience during the transition period and are excited about the improvements this system will bring moving forward.
