We are looking for a reliable, dedicated, experienced painter with 5-10 years residential and commercial interior and exterior painting, who can demonstrate initiative and the ability to take direction and get the job done.

Exceptional Painting and Property Care is a rapidly growing full service paint company that also offers drywall services, in the residential and commercial industry since 2012.

Under general supervision of designated supervisor, to be responsible for and/or leads and assigns work to a
crew of painters.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for overseeing project crews in painting of interior and exterior surfaces of
buildings/structures.
Prepare, schedule and inspect work performance of departmental personnel, as assigned.
Assist manager in the coordination of paint work with that of the other trades.
Advise/recommend to manager areas throughout the job site in need of painting oversights.
Roll, brush, or spray paint onto exterior or interior surfaces of buildings and structures, as required.
Refinish furniture/equipment, as required.
Repair or prepare surfaces for painting, as required.
Order necessary paint supplies, including tools required for the job and/or paint shop.
Be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies in conjunction with auditing system.
Perform related duties, as assigned.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent and four years related experience as a painter.
Supervisory ability.
Ability to use painting tools and associated equipment.
Ability to mix and match paint to samples and existing colors.
Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including
heavy work.
Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment, as necessary.
Valid motor vehicle operator's license, if required.

We are looking for a Painter Helper to help prepare our worksites and assist our painters on the job. In this role, you are responsible for sanding/power washing surfaces to remove the old paint, coating surfaces so that they better hold the paint, and helping clean up after the job is done. You also take steps to protect pieces of furniture and the intricate carpentry of the wall. Our ideal candidate has some experience working under an experienced painter. You should be skilled with various power and hand tools. Having additional industrial qualifications are a plus.

Painter Helper Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and clean up your job site
Protect furniture, floors, and other pieces of the structure that do not need paint
Remove old paint using by sanding or washing or the use of other tools
Prepare the surface for painting
Assist the painter during the job

Painter Helper Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
Experience working under a painter or on a construction site (preferred)
Skills with a variety of hand and power tools
Attention to detail

You must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Have a cell phone for time tracking and so we are able to contact you on job sites
Hand tools (brushes, rollers, maskers, etc)
Drywalling Experience (Hang, Tape, Mud, Texture) is required
