👷‍♀️ Project Update 🚧 🚜

Here's the dirt on the Springs projects (because we know you've been wondering). So much dirt, though...670,000 CY moved, to be inexact, between Selby Ranch, Tutt Townhomes, and Ellston Park. 🤯

And amidst those dirt piles, we have managed the placement of over
🔘 35,000 SY of asphalt paving
🔘 34,800 LF of retaining walls
🔘 28,400 LF of utility piping
🔘 20,000 LF of curb and gutter
🔘 140 inlets and manholes

BizWest’s Confluence Colorado Water Summit at Embassy Suites Boulder yesterday was very informative about the current state of the Front Range watershed, especially as it relates to this week's influx of wildfires.

Hall Irwin specializes in the installation of slurry walls, which protect watersheds and water rights, and give greater water security for the future of our growing community.

This week’s quartet of wildfires raging in the Front Range foothills gave an extra sense of urgency to a Thursday discussion among water managers about how to keep the flow coming during uncertain times.

This is the future home of the Sweet Valley Reservoir Complex. Starting next month, Hall Irwin will be installing well over half a million square feet of slurry wall around two cells for the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District and J-2 Contracting Co.

To help us key into bedrock over 70 feet below the surface, we'll be using a fancy new machine our operators are excited to get their hands on (the simulator is the closest they've come so far). More info on that to come, but let's just say we're extending our reach...

We have a new team member, Josh Spence! Josh has a construction background and will be working as Bid Coordinator, building relationships with subcontractors and making sure they have what they need to fuel success for everyone involved in our bids. We couldn't be more excited to welcome another Greeley native to our office!

Completion is a good feeling, and we're experiencing that at the Westminster Block A-1 Alley. This project sought to ease traffic flows and create ADA access points to current and future businesses. The before and after reveals the improvement--great job, team!
