On today's episode of you never know what you'll find when you start a job. To the person who built this house, house wrap only belongs on the outside of the house, that way the walls can breathe. If you use it behind a shower on an exterior wall, you will create some pretty big problems. It is not a v***r barrier and will allow moisture and air through the wall and the plywood will mold and rot. Also, when installing windows proper flashing and sealants are pretty important. If you are going to try to build your own house, make sure you do things the right way so you don't cause problems for the next person who spends big money on a home for their family
