🚨Employee Spotlight: Mike H. – The Swiss Army Knife of KES

🔧 If versatility were a sport, Mike H. would have more gold than Michael Phelps. Since joining the KES crew in 2018, Mike’s been the go-to guy for literally everything.

✅ Hydrovac operator?
✅ Underground crew muscle?
✅ Equipment hauler?
✅ Paperwork wrangler?

You bet – and he even uses a pen 🖊️ , not just duct tape.

Mike doesn’t just wear many hats 👷🏼‍♂️— he rotates through a whole hardware store aisle of them daily.

🛻 Need someone in the hydrovac before sunrise, then haul equipment to a job site by lunch 🥪, and assist with paperwork by dinner? Mike's already doing it, probably while fixing your lunch truck’s flat 🛞 .

⚠️ He’s the kind of guy who never says, “Not my job,” — instead, he asks, “Where do you need me?” And then he just gets it done (with minimal coffee ☕️ complaints).

🌿 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT 🌿

They say no great story ever started with "everything went perfectly"... and our latest landscaping project is proof! 😅

What began as a routine drainage addition and mini makeover quickly turned into a water world reboot thanks to some surprise underground water issues along with some unexpected building rot. But at KES Contracting, we don’t just go with the flow—we redirect it.

💧 Challenge: A river of water draining directly to the patio that doubled as a mosquito resort.
🔧 Solution: Strategic grading, top-notch drainage, and a whole lot of determination.
🏝️ Result: A dry, peaceful backyard oasis where our client can now sip lemonade instead of bailing out rain boots.

Unexpected bumps? Yep.
Water problems? Handled.
