Meet Devon, Youth Apprentice at Northern Electric, Inc. and recent Denmark High School graduate.

Katelyn Conard-Piontek, Director of Operations, shared:

“At Northern Electric, ‘the power is in our people.’ We know the key to our success is our team. We provide our employees with the information and tools to fulfill their personal and professional goals, and that is EXACTLY what we did for Devon! Devon joined our team as a youth apprentice and has spent the past two years gaining experience and knowledge that will be key to his success upon graduation. Upon graduating from Denmark High School, we offered Devon a full-time position as an electrical apprentice indentured through the ABC of Wisconsin apprenticeship program. We are extremely excited to watch Devon grow and learn over the next five years as an apprentice and beyond!”

Devon, receiving a full-time job offer before graduation is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and growth you've demonstrated throughout your Youth Apprenticeship experience. You've taken advantage of every opportunity to learn, build your skills, and make a positive impact in the workplace. Our Northern Electric team recently wrapped up the electrical installation of a new 34,396 Square Foot State Patrol Safety and Weight Enforcement Facility, located in Wrightstown, WI.

NEI had the privilege of furnishing and installing a 1600A 120/208V service for the building with a 500kw diesel generator. NEI also furnished and installed a 20kw Solar Photovoltaic system on the building as well as provided a complete and operable communication tower grounding, building lightning protection, paging/intercom system, door access control system, and security cameras throughout the building.
