$100,000 Reward Being Offered.

On Feb 28, 2026 at approximately 2am the suspect vehicle entered the construction zone on Interstate 70 near SR 315. The suspect vehicle was traveling westbound on Interstate 70. The suspect vehicle struck a generator and then a construction worker. The victim was identified as 25-year-old Jordan Thomas. Mr. Thomas was employed by Kokosing Construction at the time of the crash. Police are seeking information about the suspected vehicle, a Maroon Toyota sedan and also the driver. KoKosing Construction is offering a 100-thousand-dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspected driver.

Miller Cable Company’s newest employee and Administrative Assistant, DeEnda Botton, had the opportunity to visit one of our active project sites today and see firsthand the work we do in the field.

This $11,225,000 project, located in Avon, involves improvements to the intersection of S.R. 254 (Detroit Road) and S.R. 83 (Center Road). The project includes widening pavement along both roadways to add additional through lanes and turn lanes, enhancing traffic flow and overall intersection functionality.

We are excited to have DeEnda join the Miller team and look forward to the contributions and energy she will bring to our company. Welcome to Miller Cable, DeEnda!
