A little preventative maintenance can go a long way! 🔧❄️

During today’s maintenance, we found a weak capacitor and got it replaced before it had the chance to cause bigger problems. We also added surge protection to the mini-split systems to help protect their sensitive electronics from power surges and voltage spikes.

Maintenance isn’t just about cleaning—it’s about catching potential problems early and protecting your equipment for the long haul.

It’s been a busy week here at Risher HVAC, and we’ve been so focused on taking care of customers that we’ve fallen behind on posting!

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to over the past several days:

🧼 Evaporator coil cleanings to restore airflow and efficiency
❄️ Mini-split installations
🌧️ Emergency calls after the recent storms, including flooded crawlspaces and water-damaged ductwork

The recent heavy rain has been tough on a lot of homes. If your crawlspace has taken on water, it’s a good idea to have your ductwork and HVAC system inspected. Standing water can damage insulation, disconnect ductwork, and create conditions for mold and poor indoor air quality.

Today we replaced an aging HVAC system with a brand-new high-efficiency Comfortmaker heat pump. The old equipment had served its time, but it was no longer providing the reliability or efficiency the homeowner deserved.

Yesterday was a busy one.

✅ Installed a new Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat mini split, giving the homeowner reliable heating even during our coldest winter days and efficient cooling all summer.

✅ Replaced a 22-year-old Rheem system with a brand-new high-efficiency Comfortmaker heat pump. After more than two decades of service, it was time for an upgrade that will provide better comfort, improved efficiency, and greater peace of mind.

Every home is different, and my goal is always the same: recommend the solution that’s best for the customer—not the one that sells the most equipment.
