Greg’s Tree Service is looking for a hardworking, reliable Groundsman to join our crew!

Job Responsibilities:
• Assisting climbers and crew on job sites
• Dragging brush and feeding the chipper
• Operating chainsaws and other equipment (experience preferred, but willing to train)
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Requirements:
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Experience in tree work or landscaping is a plus, but not required

Over the last several days, our crews have been working around the clock in this ice storm—cutting, hauling, and carefully removing trees from homes, roofs, power lines, and other structures. The damage across our area is widespread, and we know so many of you are dealing with stressful and dangerous situations.

Please know:
We see your messages. We hear your calls. And we are doing everything we can to reach everyone as quickly and safely as possible.

Tree work in these conditions is slow, technical, and dangerous. Every job has to be done methodically to protect your property, your family, and our crews. That means it can take longer than usual to complete each site, especially when trees are on structures or tangled in utilities.

We’re asking for your patience and understanding with all local tree services right now. Many of us are:

Working long, extended hours in freezing temperatures

immediate danger to life or major property damage

If you’re on our list, we have not forgotten you. We are moving through jobs as fast as conditions and safety will allow, and we truly appreciate your support, kindness, and patience during this storm.

We are out doing emergency tree service along with assessing more damage in our area. Please give us a text or call if you need any help. Our office lines are down along with our cell service, I run to Oscoda every 30 mins to answer messages and voicemails. Please have patience with us.
