When a "Simple" Install Becomes a Masterclass in Patience 😅🛠️

​This week we tackled a storm door installation on an older mobile home, and let’s just say... the original door didn't want to go quietly.
​To get the new, modern frame and door set correctly, our crew had to:
​🛑 Remove the original framing, which was held on by no fewer than 30+ screws.
​🛑 Battled layers of industrial tape, hidden screws (of course), AND heavy-duty construction adhesive.
​🛑 Trim back the vinyl siding to perfectly accommodate the new, clean white frame.

​Mobile home projects are rarely straightforward, and this one was definitely a challenge. But at The Handy Smith, we don’t walk away from a "pain in the neck" job—we figure out the solution and get it done right.
​Our client now has a secure, energy-efficient storm door that looks fantastic against the tan siding.
