Recently, I completed this custom accent wall and a custom-built console. This client requested a fluted design for the wall to bring some texture into the space and a floating console to maximize floor space and give the room a more modern aesthetic. These past 2 years have kept me pretty busy with many exciting projects that I will be sharing more of in the coming weeks but while I’m in the process of finishing those I wanted to share one of my most recent projects.
This client requested a custom built-in bookshelf system. This installation includes a wall to wall and floor to ceiling, two tier bookshelf system with roll out trays installed on the lower cabinets for the customers’ convenience.

Here are a set of custom built-ins made for a Mr. Kevin Phelp. These built-ins feature custom X pattern doors and solid face drawer fronts. All door and drawers were installed with slow close hinges and drawer slides. The second built-in features two floating shelves while the third built-in is a small boot bench at the back entrance. The customer was wanting to paint the built-ins himself, but has yet to do so. When that is complete I will update this post with the finished product.

Well it's been a while since I've posted so here you go. This was a wrought iron spindle swap out job for Shelly and John Skinner. Not wanting to go too modern they went with a twist, twist, basket, twist, twist pattern. This really opened up the visibility both on and off the stairs and really just opened up the entire area, and definitely gave their stairs an updated look.

Well I messed up and didn't get any before photos so you all are going to have to use your imagination, basically there was nothing on these stairs when I started. This staircase has 3½ inch chamfered top newl posts and a new type of wrought iron pattern I've never done before, a double straight with a 3¾ inch square spindle. I really like how this turned out.

Here is a staircase system I completed for a Mr. Paul Dawley back in October. I went with a craftsman style 3½ inch newlpost along with custom built recessed panel box newlpost for the walls, and straight square wrought iron spindles. This turned out very clean and sleek.

I hope everyone had a blessed and happy holidays. Here is a job that I completed just before Christmas for Alli and Brad Spiker. They wanted to to give their beautiful oak stair system a little bit more of an updated look. We went with a double twist and single basket pattern wrought iron, and it turned out beautiful.
