Anybody need a Koi pond? Customer asked if we’d dig a small pool for her Koi fish before we loaded up and moved on. No problem. This will be a very nice feature in the middle of the circle drive when they get it finished. Just pleasing customers in any way we can!!

Finished up the septic system at the home on the rock as we have come to call it. Definitely fought us every step of the way. This has been a good project and will be a nice home for many years.

If youve eaten at Twin Dragons lately and thought it was a little too warm for comfort in the dining room, try them again. This time bring a jacket! Some quick calculations determined the building hvac system was grossly undersized, and we quickly solved those issues. Now it’s great food, great people, and a comfortable environment!!

Had a good day yesterday breaking rocks for a septic for new home. Won’t have to worry about shifting sand under this home, it’s built biblically, on the solid rock!! On a side note, we needed an adapter for my Premier breaker/driver to fit on my Sany mini excavator, Carl at Honey Creek Livestock Equipment said no problem. They do more than panels, these guys know fabrication!! Thanks Carl.

Several have asked us what we’ve been up to all spring. This is it. The Goat Ranch - Baker-Spain Stampede!! 14 new bathrooms, the new convenience store, the new commercial kitchen for the event center. HVAC and plumbing for the entire building. A customer called last week saying his water heater wouldn’t stay lit. The issue was obvious as soon as the closet opened. A noncondensing tankless water heater had been installed, by a local contractor, with incorrect venting. This was potentially a very dangerous situation and I’m glad it wasn’t worse. Proper install is important, mistakes can be life threatening. Cutting corners to save money when the safety of your family is on the line is never worth it!! Call us first, and let us keep your house safe and comfortable!!

Work was ongoing today at The Goat Ranch. Finished up the grease duct for the new commercial kitchen, and continued working on the plumbing in the new convenience store and “hotel” rooms. This is an amazing place and if you’re in the Ozarks and aren’t aware of it you need to check it out!! Here’s a sneak peak from behind the new bar in the event center.
