We finally have MOST of the snow gone from the yard. Two days of 75+ weather ALMOST melted it.
Our first job of the year is on April 22nd. Poison Ivy should start getting nervous, because here we come!

03/28/2017

We are looking forward to the poison ivy season start date, but we are likely getting 3-5 inches of snow this Friday in Greenfield, NH. I'm crossing my fingers for warm weather!

I am going to be on NH Chronicle tonight, doing an interview about poison ivy removal. Tasha, one of my poison ivy removal crew is behind me, removing poison ivy.
7pm on WMUR Channel 9
I'd love to hear what you think.
BTW, the suit adds on 40 pounds...

Please check out the article about poison ivy in the May/June copy of Yankee Magazine. I am mentioned in the article.

POISON IVY IDENTIFICATION TIPS
There are 3 things poison ivy never does:
1. It never has thorns. Poison ivy doesn't need thorns, it has the urushiol oil.
2. It never has finely serrated edges. Poison ivy is more of a lobed leaf.
3. It never has a pair of opposite leaves below the three leaves. To be botanically correct, each of the three leaves is a leaflet and together all three are considered one leaf. Poison ivy only has one leaf per stem.

On poison ivy, the center leaflet has a neck, while the other two leaflets are attached directly to the stem.

The poison ivy leaves are almost all unfurled around here. They are still small and shiny, but they are
turning down the red and turning up the green.

I just got a reply from a client from 2014. They said no poison ivy grew back at their home in Merrimack, NH! I LOVE to hear that! Poison ivy is so tenacious, usually something grows back. This does not happen often, so when it does, we feel GREAT!
