Ahh, warmer weather is finally here. It’s been awhile since my last posting about freeze ups! This past week I got a call however for a very fun sewage ejector pump in a wall cavity. As much as some would probably not enjoy this sort of work, I do it with a grin 😁. I’m always up for a good challenge! Tis the season for freeze ups! Mobile homes are especially susceptible to the cold. They depend on higher temps, functioning heat tape, and some trickling faucets to get by. Please keep those tstats turned up and stay safe everyone!

If you want the honest truth of why I’m never posting anything on here, well, here she is! Dakota here pushes me to go out for a 2 or more mile hike EVERY day, regardless of temps. Remember to get out, stay active, and keep those animals happy! Also remember to watch your temps this week. It is going to be blistering cold!! 68/70 degrees minimum is a great range when the nights get extra cold. This will help prevent water in your baseboard from sitting long enough to freeze. Our Winters are a science! Please stay safe and give Reid Plumbing a ring if anything comes up!

I hope each and everyone of you had a wonderful Christmas this past week! I’m a bit late to post but it’s been quite the busy few weeks. Lots of last second emergency jobs. Here’s to a hopefully mostly issue free New Year! I have my resolution in mind and I’m ready to tackle this year head on! I hope you’ll join me this year in doing all we can to continue to better ourselves and the world around us.

Winter is coming! The cold has arrived and that means it’s time to be proactive! It’s time to turn up your heat in the basement and crawlspace some. Just remember that it’s always more affordable to turn up your heat vs deal with the aftermath of freeze ups. Check on your heat tape, open up cabinets as needed, and know where your home water main shut off is in an emergency. Always have an emergency plan and please, please, PLEASE check on your smoke detectors/ have a few spare fire extinguishers in your home (one by your bedside). Be sure to check up on neighbors that need help too! We’re all in this together. Together we will see another warm spring in the months to come! Well, it’s been a good past month since the last post. It’s gotten a little chillier however! Don’t forget to disconnect those garden hoses and winterize anything needing to be. Those outdoor showers should be blown out and often times have antifreeze pumped through. Reid plumbing can assist with this! The looks these “customers” give me some days is 😂. Between the honks and hisses, we managed to get water restored for a great family in Stratham. Animals are the biggest perk to my job! Behind many great businesses is a half that you won’t often see. The half of the company that stands by you through all the thick and thin. Without this amazingly beautiful woman by my side, I don’t know if I would have ever found the confidence to run a business. It’s been Ten Years today since I said “I do”. I Love You Mariah Reid! Thank you everyday for sticking by my side and being the best Wife a man could ask for. Constantly helping me be the best man I can be. Plus helping me load up all those water heaters 💪.

Wow! It’s been an amazing summer so far. The weather’s been great and I hope that you’re all out living life to the fullest! Between jobs I’ve been enjoying kayaking, camping 🏕️, and hiking with my dog, Dakota! She’s one of the best things to happen in my life. She keeps me motivated through the work day because when I get home she’s ready to go on an adventure. However, sometimes an adventure can lead to quite the messy dog 🐕! For the times where she’s too messy to go indoors, I’ll adjust our outdoor faucet to a nice warm temp and rinse her down real quick. These hot/ cold sillcocks are great for that, washing the truck 🛻, pressure washing, etc… If you have any interest in putting one in, give Reid Plumbing a ring at (603)892-5131.

With assistance from my fine assistant (and Wife) I was recently able to load in and install this new 65 gallon Rheem Pro Hybrid water heater (plus code updates). All of my materials come from FWWebb so you know you can depend on quality products in a quality installation.
