Help Wanted: Landscape installation, flexible part time work. Enjoy your spring and summer in the sun while getting a good workout.
Mossy Pine is looking for part time seasonal people to join the team. We are a small landscape design, installation and garden care company that works from Manhattan to Montauk and sometimes beyond. Our primary work regions are the Huntington area and Fire Island. We do everything from containers to small city gardens, we plant up rooftops, create garden spaces on the shore, ecoscape with native plants and create traditional landscapes. If you love all things outdoors join us for a summer of hard work and fun.
Responsibilities:
Includes plant selection, planting (from large trees and shrubs to small annuals), transplanting, edging, weeding, light pruning, mulching and all things necessary to create a beautiful space.
Requirements:
-Enthusiastic, flexible, fun and eager to learn
-Basic knowledge of plant materials and horticultural techniques is a plus
-Creative with a good eye for design
-Excellent people skills, can be a team member but lead when necessary
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs., and ride a bike (Fire Island)
-Able to work in all weather conditions
-Valid NY drivers license
Hours and Compensation:-Seasonal part time position-$15 - $20 per hour
