We had this small tractor port to complete and onsite work went flawless with careful shop planning and off site prep. With this project being over a hour away the pre site planning allowed us to complete this project from ground up in 1 day onsite. Helps to have such a wonderful crew of craftsman!

Michelle and I delivered some more epoxy taxidermy.. the antlers are impressive but epoxy craft Michelle Putvain did on this one is awesome. Always taking custom orders! Thanks Daniel Michaud and Emily Hill Michaud for the project and another show piece!

The Awl Detail Builder team took on a difficult task this week. We beat rocks, chiseled rocks, excavated rocks and got this stone chimney removed. Everyone's tired, hands sore, and well have nightmares about "Rocks" all weekend. Lol. Full renovation in progress on this VT property! Thanks Devin Rathburn for getting new electic line dug!!

Allen and I have been waiting days of sunshine for the past couple weeks to complete this cedar shake job on one of our timberframes. Since the sunshine keeps hiding behind snowflakes we put our mittens and winter hats on this morning and had fantastic day and started weaving some corners.

Not all jobs are glorious! We got called in to make this interior fire escape with tight timeline from inspectors. We conquered the task flawlessly and managed to pass inspection. Still waiting a egress window (custom order) but cant be happier with end result. Lots head scratches and couple extra trips to lumber yard and we completed it!

In-between mother-nature's hurdles Allen and I have been putting shakes on upper Gables and dormers of this timberframe home we raised approximately a year ago in Sutton VT. Our wonderful customers approached me late winter and asked if we could help.

With summer building season approaching michelle has been busy finishing up some interior painting and drywall repairs while ive been dipping shakes in shop. Looks like mother nature will cororporate tomorrow so we can start installing shakes on a timberframe we stood up a year ago! Very appreciative our client/friend called us this winter and asked for help! Watch for finish pictures soon! Check out my set up, with some prior experience and couple online videos I created this system for dipping shakes, and couldn't be happier with results!
