I asked in the video how we tied the Duracraft on this pool deck into the house.

That’s the part a lot of people miss. Anybody can cover a deck. The real work is making that transition look clean, stay tight, and not leave a weak spot where the pool deck meets the house.

We did it so the Duracraft runs right into the existing structure instead of looking like two separate jobs butted together.

One of the first things people ask is, “Is this going to be slippery?”

That’s a fair question. Regular epoxy can get slick, especially when it’s wet. That’s why we don’t treat this like a basic coat-and-walk-away job.

In this video I break down the difference. We add SharkGrip, an HSC product, into our sealer so the surface has grip instead of that glassy, slick finish people worry about.

You still get the color, the protection, and the finished look. You just don’t have to wonder if the patio or walkway is going to be a skating rink the next time it rains.
