Sometimes the most beautiful pieces are the ones that almost didn’t make it.
These French Provincial nightstands arrived hidden beneath layers of failing paint, heavy buildup, and years of wear. Most people would have passed them by.
We couldn’t.
Over the course of nearly a week, every curve, edge, and detail was carefully stripped by hand to reveal the character that had been buried underneath. A soft paint wash was then layered to create the warm, timeworn finish you see today, preserving their history while giving them a fresh new beginning.
Inside, each drawer has been lined with a delicate floral pattern, adding a little surprise every time they’re opened. 🌿
They remind us of slow mornings, linen bedding, open windows, fresh flowers from the garden, and homes filled with stories.
