Seasonal weight and speed restrictions will be lifted on Monday, March 31 at 6 a.m. by the following agencies:

Barry County Road Commission
Ionia County Road Department
Road Commission of Kalamazoo County
Kent County Road Commission
City of East Grand Rapids
City of Grand Rapids
City of Grandville
City of Kentwood
City of Walker
Road Commission for Montcalm County
Muskegon County Road Commission
Newaygo County Road Commission
Ottawa County Road Commission

These restrictions were originally implemented to protect road surfaces as frost was coming out of the ground. The lifting of restrictions is based on ongoing monitoring of factors including frost depth, road conditions and weather forecasts. These indicators show that non–all-season roads can once again support commercial traffic with heavier loads.
