Proud to have worked with Mavin Construction on this one-of-a-kind timber structure at St. Mary’s in Greenville.
What looks like a clean, simple canopy is actually an incredibly complex integration of heavy timber and structural steel. Every timber member was CNC-milled for precision, allowing each piece to fit seamlessly with the custom-fabricated steel knife plates. The changing roof geometry and intersecting angles demanded meticulous engineering, coordination, and craftsmanship from start to finish.
Projects like this showcase what happens when advanced technology meets traditional craftsmanship.
